Snow

Okay, so it's March 3rd, and its snowing yet again.  I am so sick of the snow but I remember being one of those people who said I wished we would get some real snow this winter.  I meant 1 big snow.  Not 3 big snows, 27 mini snows and 2 ice storms. 

At least being in the house gives me the opportunity to write, however I have to fit my paragraphs in between being chased by two toddlers. 

Aaliyah, 3, is creating a clubhouse with the throw pillows from the couch, and the chairs from her arts table.  My son, Khalil, 22 months is picking up all the microscopic particles the vacuum didn't get and is making a meal of them. 

I took off work so I wouldn't have to be on the rode, and so I could focus on finishing my first novel, clean the house and relax, but the Toddlers will see to it none of that happens.

My First

So this is my first blog.  The subjects for my future blogs will be: relationships, love, and my crazy family. I am a 40-year-old mother of four.  I did something crazy and recently had two babies.  My oldest child is 21, then I have a 15-year-old, and now I have two toddlers--a 3-year-old and a 22-month-old.  I have a big daughter/little daughter and a big son/little son.  I am blessed to have a set of each but they really drive me crazy.  The big set drive me just as crazy as the little set.  

I have a full-time job working the night shift, and I have a husband who is just as weird as the rest of us.  I have recently published my second poetry book while working on my third book--a fiction novel.  

My life is full and hectic, but I love it.
